Earlier last week, I had the pleasure to visit with whichwatch (Dick L) at the Boutique. See the prior report. Yesterday, I again had the opportunity to catch up with a group of IWC Collectors at the Boutique. Dawn, the Flagship Manager, was our host and she was a perfect one as we have come to expect.
This rowdy group of visitors are no stranger to the Boutique and NYC has come to expect them in the city. I think the mid-town police were on notice while they hopped around the city. Dick described this crew as "The Dentist", "Stitches" (for his side splitting humor), and "California Cool" as this East Coast native has for a long time residted in San Jose, Ca. To put some first names her to protect the innocent, thay are Nelson, Terry, and Larry. It's alomst the three stooges, only funnier.
We spent most of the afternoon at the Boutique and some time at roof top bar that Terry found on Google. Thanks Larry, Curly, and Moe. It was a fun afternoon. I had not seen Terry and Nelson for a year or so and although I have been in contact with Larry over the years, we never met persoanlly.
It was worth the wait. I will let the picdtures speak for themselves.
I'm not sure how Larry was allowed into the Boutique wearing an AP polo shirt.
My first face to face meeting with Larry.
Nelson sitting in Kevin's Chair.
We took uber over to the roof top bar and had a couple of brews together.
Finally the heavy metal in our small GTG group. The Rolex interloper belongs to the Head of the USA Rolex Watch Service Center, who joined us for a bit.
There were two of these special Perpetuals....they are referred to as the George HW and the George W, #41 and #43, the LE numbers of these.
