Okay newbie IWC collector, need forum advice as I finally have all the required pictures. I am weirdly attracted to the damaged dial,a.k.a tropicalised!!!
What I know:
1) Dial is water damaged, but has a lovely patina
2) Crown has been replaced
3) Hands are not original
4) Watch was a reissue to the Royal Dutch Army
What I want to know:
1) Where could I source an original crown and sword hands
2) Is the mechanical workings original
3) Do the numbers of the movements add-up
