Dear Anne
the pics do not allow in depth comments.
The watch appears to come from the sixties to eighties of the last century. In that period we saw many many different cases and so most cases are rare in terms of the number produced.
As ladies watches aren't really a field for collectors the value of your watch is mainly determined by the value of the material (yours appears to be white gold) and the look.
For more info it would need the case and the movement No. and the hallmarks normally given on the inner side of the back.
Sorry for not being able to provide more info.
Thomas
It is of course, a truly magnificent piece - and timeless in its design.
Whichever IWC movement lies inside (and guaranteed it was originally an IWC inhouse movement) you may know, that it was/is a marvel of fine mechanical horological engineering.
Take it to a competent watchmaker for service, ask him to both photograph the movement and inside case back as well as note both movement and case serial number. Share that with us and we can help research further.
