I started my IWC "Career" with a Spitfire Mark XVI, immediately followed by a Big Pilot. After about a year I had to do it again, and bought a Portofino. As a passionate diver I obviously ought to have an Aquatimer Vintage.
About a year ago I saw the Da Vinci Kurt Klaus, and fell immediately in love with it. Was about to buy a steel one, which I fortunately did not do.
Why? Because two weeks ago I found one of this very seldom Da Vinci Kurt Klaus in white gold, limited to 50 pieces. And since today I am the proud owner of this incredible timepiece.lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Rt1kem_jKvQ/Tq8gJaGicPI/AAAAAAAAByg/Bja_4gNGTro/s720/IWC%2BKK-4.JPG

Wearing a perpetual calendar at your wrist is an incredible feeling.
Hopefully, with this timepiece I do now qualify to meet Kurt Klaus one day in person, shake his hand and tell him how thankful I am of this creations.

Congrats on a sensational time piece! It would have been nice in steel, but I am sure you are even happier with your very limited white gold version. Wear in good health.

    Cheers,

    Ben

Giovanni, no "oops" here! Adding that magnificent watch to your collection is no mistake - and certainly as a personal friend of yours I am overjoyed to see you finally secure your "grail watch".

I've followed your journey on the road to this one and recall your original emotions on seeing my CFDV. I remember as well our discussions around the Kurt Klaus Edition - and how you passed on buying a stainless steel one around 9 months ago - a decision you could not explain at the time.

Today, you collected this dream watch and I like our fellow collectors are pleased for you. Wear it in good health - you deserve it.

    Best regards
    Mark

Absolutely gorgeous and with its size and weight you always know that Kurt is on your wrist. Ardoise and I refer to our KKPCC as "The Man.". Congrats on joining the Man Club!

It's a stunning and gorgeous IWC, it's the master's piece of Schaffhausen and the form of it is just genial. For me, a must have one day.

Dear all, thanks for participating in my joy for this timepiece.
Yes, I will wear it with pride and honor.
I want to share the full story with you: Unfortunately, a week after I saw this watch the first time, my loved mom passed away. So I decided to buy it in memory of her. It is as beautiful and elegant as my mom was, and at the same time as complicated as her. Furthermore, every time I see the timepiece it puts a smile of joy on my face, the same way my mom was able to always put a smile on my face.
Yes, I will wear it with pride and honor, and it will always remember me my mom.
Dear Mr Klaus, thanks for creating such a wonderful timepiece, which for the rest of my life will remember me of my loved mom.

Giovanni, Sorry for your loss, but you chose a great way to honor and remember your mom. If she was anything like mine she would be very happy with your choice.
    Wear it in good health.

Giovanni - I know exactly how you feel - my PPC took me to Germany for a business trip today. Wearing the PC is just awesome, I had plenty of time to enjoy it on the plane rides - both ways.

That KK looks really stunning - congratulations, I am happy for you :o)
