Part 2 - A Big Pilot finds its way home

My Ref 5002 transitional has been my favourite weekend watch since I acquired it. Despite a couple of trips back to the AD with crown and stalk issues, it never felt "right". It celebrated it's fifth birthday by losing all sense of time. I sent it off for a service in November and it returned totally transformed. A few minor scuffs on the highly polished part of the bezel have gone but now, the Big Pilot keeps excellent time and the winding action feels incredibly smooth.

I am glad that it's working OK now. The BP is such a special piece, you should be able to enjoy it without worries! For me, the BP is the first choice. All other watches fight for wrist time, except for the Inge 3327 that's almost always on my right wrist ;-)
