The ardoise PPC is a an amazing watch to look at but very difficult to photograph due to reflections. I recently got a polarising filter for my 100mm macro lens. With a cloud dome and some heavily diffused flash, it seems to do the trick. Even more tricky is Mrs E's Patek annual calendar with an ardiose dial.

    Without flash ...

    Mrs E's contribution.

Clemens, I have to agree with you. The PPPC's in white gold all look stunning (although, I must confess that after you posted the photos of yesterdays event and the pic of the rose gold one, I begin to like that too..)

Ralph, great job on the photo's here!

Very tasty photos Ralph. You just helped me pick what I am wearing for my trip to NYC tomorrow.

Your strap is very nice, I may add. Was your strap always that rich, dark patina? Hard to believe mine will be 5 years old in 2 months - this watch seems new to me every time I look at it...

This is one of my "grail" watches and it is always a joy to see great photos of the PPC. Thank you, Ralph!

Hi Ralph, great 'still' effect! The Patek of the misses isn't bad either, very very nice watch but I already knew you have great taste!

    Best regards,

    Bob
