I love the PD IWC's and enjoy every opportunity to see one...or three as pictured here! Thanks for the great shots, SC!
SC,
What is the material with the greenish color?
SC, great collection of PD's! Having just added a PD compass to my collection, and having had Herr Kurt Klaus share some interesting facts on this watch with us in Geneve (see my recent posting) this watch has taken on a whole new meaning for me.
Another interesting fact that Herr Klaus shared, was that they changed in a later stage, the material of the strap, from aluminum to hard plastic. Are all your straps aluminum?
Best regards
Mark
Lovely collection and pictures!
Kind regards,
Clemens
The Green compass is aluminum alloy.
I have both straps. The green aluminum bracelet is brand new too. :)
I am using the plastic one on the watch.
Both bracelet for the compass.
Great collection of PD!
Like it a lot, could have used one during military training..
wear them in good health.

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing.
[QUOTE="scfong"]Both bracelet for the compass.
SC - I stand in AWE !
Absolutely stunning - with these compasses and a half moon to boot, no sailor dog will ever get lost at sea.
Thank you ever so much for posting this great collection.
Best regards
Mark
Thanks Mark for that wonderful story--I did not know that Herr Klaus was involved. He is no less the da Vinci of Schaffhausen.
Here's one of mine--a beautiful and intricately crafted watch.
