Last night I witnessed the date change from April 30 to May first, another flawless transition made possible by the magnificent Perpetual Calendar module made by Kurt Klaus!

Here is a picture I took of the watch this morning as proof:

Hi Clemens, great picture of one of the best looking IWC's ever!!! I don't consider it real proof though, a video would be ;-)

    Very nice picture, Clemens.

I just thought, that we have had here perpetucam broadcast at the year change but I guess we are missing a time lapse or video of the end of month transition. From 30. Or even better from 28. I mean of course :o) Or have I missed it somewhere?

    Hi guys,

I tried it once, but the date change on short months starts much earlier. If memory serves me right, it starts even before 23:00 when switching from February 28 to March first. This would make the video very long. I tried a time lapse video but struggled with light so that one never got published.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Yes, great looking watch, Clemens! The changeover of mine went well too, while sitting in the box: it is still Worldtimer on my wrist.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Aloha Cinq -

I was also observing the transition from April to May because I just got my BPP back from the USA Richemont Service Center in Texas - they did a great job!

The perpetual calendar is one of my favorite mechanical gadgets...

Nice photo, Clemens. I was fast asleep at midnight confidently expecting my PPC would show 1st May today.

I look forward to the day I can join this discussion as an owner of my own PPC. It will be a happy day. Cool watch.

Still one of the most handsome PPC's I've ever come across - an absolute beauty to say the least.

That the date change went smoothly - was there ever any doubt ? Certainly not with the genius of The Master behind that movement.
