Given the numerous types of Port PC that are currently available or will be soon. Is it it not time for a Port PC in steel or titanium and here is my reasoning. The whole idea of a PC is that it is a watch to be worn frequently and with a 7 day reserve it offers a chance for a change for a few days. In the precious metals a watch that can be worn so frequently needs to be durable and the precious metal varieties will show the everyday dings we manage to accidently inflict to them more readily than the hard metals like SS or Ti. Yes I know there is a SS DV PC KK variant but the DV shape does not set my pulse racing.

Greg - here is what you need to do...

IMHO - Go down to your AD, and try on the DV. Walk around with it a while on your wrist and take a look in the mirror. And if you prefer bracelets, then imagine it on a Stainless Steel bracelet (like on the CFDV). I did the same before signing up for the CFDV, because I had the same low pulse rate for the shape. That all changed when I actually wore the watch!

And I think it's the only way that you will see a PPC in Stainless on your wrist.

    Best regards

    PC DV or Port

I will try but every watch I own or have ever hankered after be it IWC PP R***x VC GP has always been round faced with the exception of a JLC Reverso.

    Perpetual calender

I have had the 5022.13 since Dec 23rd and wear it almost everyday. It hasn't picked-up many dings of everyday use at all. What I love about it is the lack of a bezel -- the watch is all face! It still looks like new!

You could consider a GST perpetual...

... they came in steel (different dial colors) and titanium and are the most durable perpetuals you can get. They only don't have the 7-days power reserve but otherwise they are great value for the money.

Mark - Steel Kurt Klaus DV Perpetual on bracelet>>

Now, that is a very great idea. I almost got the RG DaVinci Bracelet for my RG DaVinci Kurt Klaus - but was worried there was a risk the gold colors between the case and the bracelet may be off a little - plus, the cost for the RG bracelet was equal to a big Ingenieur Chrono...

The Steel Kurt Klaus Perpetual on Steel Bracelet would be a real winner. You nailed it with that idea.

It may not work for Greg, and I understand - but it would be a great combo!!!
