    Hi,

First post on the IWC Forum. I purchased a Pilot's Watch Chronograph Le Petit Prince Edition (IW377706) new from an AD about a month ago. I just starting noticing that when I lightly shake the watch or move my wrist in an awkward direction that the watch makes a loud "vibrating" metal noise. I can also feel the movement as well.

I feel as though this must be normal as I just bought the watch a month ago, but wanted to check...

I was reading about the 7750 "wobble". Could this be what I am hearing?

Yep, that is the likely answer to your concern. It's normal. If the watch is gaining or losing time outside the IWC specs, then have the watch looked at first at your AD. Otherwise, wear it and enjoy your LPP.

noticed this type of noise in my brand new Big Pilot with the 51111 calibre in it, soft metallic click/clack when you shake it slightly
but it's keeping great time (less than +2 seconds in 24 hrs)
so i'd assume this is normal? can any other ref 5009 owners confirm this?

The rotor is fairly large and can be heard on mine as well. Mine is also keeping excellent time. Congrats on an awesome watch - and a quick question; is your Big Pilot with or without a "9"?

it has the "9" in it as well as the Triangle under the index bar :)
it's a ref 200916 Le petit prince edition.

it's been 80 hrs since i've synchronized it and has only gained 2 full seconds
immensely impressed with the time keeping here!
