    Is this an error....
    In the text under "TIMEZONER"...

    The red “UTC” inscription below “London” represents the current coordinated world time. The rotating bezel (city ring) currently shows London standard time, 5 a.m. (24-hour display);

    From the looks of the photo, should not his read "....shows London standard time, 10am..(reading of the 24hr display) and not 5am (reading of the standard display)... isn't this the whole idea of the watch..?...

    Hi,

    I think the confusion comes from having two different pictures. In the upper picture of the watch, the 24hr display shows 10 a.m., which contradicts with the text, but the lower picture - the one that shows the differential gearing - has the 24hr hand at 5 a.m. position (although the 24hr ring is missing in that picture).

    Hi back,
    Yes, I think it is confusing. I think the writer of the text is referring to the top picture of the whole watch as the lower picture only shows the "City ring" which is showing a standard time of between 2 and 3. I think the author of the text has mistakenly read the watches display as 5 o'clock when clearly they should have said 10. ie. he has read the red 24hr timezone hand incorrectly from the standard time and not the 24hr inner display. It may be me but isn't this the whole point of the watch?...and one completely miss by the author. It doesn't reflect very well on IWC if they can't be clear about a description of their own watch!!!!

    Hello, and welcome to the forum. I am sorry to read that you are confused. There is nothing really confusing, and no miss from the author ; The text under Timezoner explains the working of the Timezoner module and refers to the drawing of that module seen on top of the article, in the same white background. The rotating bezel (city ring) currently shows London standard time, 5 a.m. (24-hour display).
