For those not following the voyage of Plastiki daily, it has now reached land on its way to Australia. They landed a couple of days ago in the Christmas Island. See the graphics from the Plastiki website. Occasionally, in the videos you get a glimpse of their IWC Plastiki Big Inges.

    Combining environment and watches

I sometimes look how they are doing, without putting too much time into it. They are doing well, I think. I hope the environment is also doing well because of their effort, but I didn't see much of that, other than like minded people encouraging them. I asked some watch related question on Facebook. Alas, they didn't answer it, I really would have been interested ito know how these watches are doing. Maybe there will be some kind of report in Watch International, when the ordeal is over.

    Kind regards,
