My father back in Mexico found an old box with some old watches in there one of them its an IWC, I want to find whats the name of the model just to know more about the watch in general. Someome offer him $1500 US but he doesnt want to sell it.
The watch still working, any input will be appreciate it.

That’s a very nice vintage IWC indeed, in 18k gold.
Here is some information for you based on the serial and movement numbers...
It is a Cal 51N dating to 1948 and it was cased in1951.
Looks like a Ref 2284
