Hello, I recently sent a vintage IWC pocket watch for repair.  Unfortunately, Schaffhausen said there was nothing that can be done to repair my watch as it was too old and they no longer make the parts. I am looking for any information possible that anyone can give me. The case number dates back to the 1980's/site_media/ckeditor_images/47297a7731652a16441a3ece4732b5a2.jpg

That's a nice piece and historic - during the Quartz Era it almost destroyed IWC. A bit of a love/hate relationship, but i'd own one in a heart beat as it's historic nonetheless as Quartz did not kill the mechanical star. Also should be plenty of quartz watch repairers who should be able to help you at least diagnose the parts required and where to buy them. All the best
