I had been managing my Uhren-virus fairly well, about as well as one can with only the occasional relapse. Then one day I found myself ferrying pocket watches across the pond and it was inevitable - I accidentally exposed myself!!! Here were these big, beautiful movements I could really see and hold. Like opening little treasure chests, there was so much more there than just a watch. Then the details in the cases struck me - so many variations in material and style. And the dials... the hands... the History!
I didn't know where to begin so I leant on our good freind, Mr. Mark Levinsohn, for some sound advice. What a mistake that was! It started with one, just to have a nice big beautiful movement to admire. But there were others, more beautiful movements. And some really nice cases. Maybe I should look for a new movement... And another... I have just acquired my 5th pocket watch and now have duplicated a movement. I am in trouble. Now fully afflicted, I must accept my fate. I have the virus bad as I now have a pocket watch problem!
