I have recently acquired an PD and am frantically trying to educate myself about it. Searching through this forum has been very helpful, but I'm still not completely certain as the exact Ref. I have. Would it be a Ref.4530?
The previous owner purchased it new in 2002, which must have been old stock, as I understand the last IWC PDs were produced in 1997. The material is titanium with gold coloured inserts, and has a quartz movement (is it 2209 caliber?). I am struggling to find anything on the Internet about this watch. Is it rare or collectible? And while I know that I cannot discuss what I paid for on this forum, would anyone know what its normally valued at on the market?
    Thank you all.

If it has 34 mm diameter, it is a ref. 3317 (nt)

    Thank you to you both

Thank you so much for putting me on track. I can now search out info on ref. 3317. With just 200 pieces, the 3517 must be very rare--and I saw from a previous thread that you own one, Heiko?
I have had trouble just finding information on my ref.3317. Was it produced in relatively low volume, or just not popular? Would you know the range of production years of this ref.? Again, thank you.
    Regards,
    Don

    Aprox 1980 - 1990.

The ref. 3317 is not rare, but with only 32 mm, it is not very popular today. But I like those watches, they are very comfortable to wear and they are high quality watches, as all IWC.

    Regards

    Heiko
