I would post a picture, but I am using this post as a test case just to see if it works. I am having an awful time just trying to post an original post without a picture.
Does anyone have a close-up of the symbols between the lugs at the 6 on the PPC? I do not yet have a magnifier in which I can see those clearly.

when I return from Washington DC. The hallmark on the left is a St. Bernard head and on the right is a cartouche with 750 inscribed inside. Both signify a case made of gold and the 750 tells you it is 18 kt.
