Hi, I'm puzzled about the dial on the watch. On the website it shows the dial has the sunburst dial, which I like. On other pictures I have seen of the actual watch the dial shows a plain matte black dial. Can someone confirm?

As you can see here, there are three versions of the Portofino 8 days:
in steel and black dial, 510102
in steel and silver/white/"off-white" dial 510103
and my personal favourite in red gold, ardoise dial, 510104

I was at the IWC boutique yesterday with KS Tan and we tried the 8 days Portofino with the ardoise dial. I can confirm that the ardoise dial has a sunburst dial. It may not be evident in Shing's photos but when you see the real thing, you will know what I mean.
Could please someone share a view on how long watch repair (under guarantee) may take. The retailer told me it may take up to 7 months… which sounds weird. I got a couple of minor issues with my new PORTOFINO HAND-WOUND EIGHT DAYS and would really miss it for such a long period...
Thanks KS and Shing. I understand that the white gold version (Ardoise dial) has the sunburst, just like many other WG models. But what about the black-dial one? Do you remember whether it has sunburst dial as well? Sunburst dials are normally not available in steel versions; therefore I find it particularly attractive if that's true for a Portofino.

Update: Just confirmed from from someone who has the actual watch - it has a plain matte dial. IWC needs to correct the official pic.
