    Good day to you all,

Over the past weeks and months I have been scrolling through the many pictures of your amazing IWC timepieces and it is clear that you all have the love of your IWC, like I do mine.

I have yet to see someone post pictures of the same (or similar) watch as mine, a Portofino Chronograph. I would love to share with you all my most prized possession.

I took some pictures this morning but I am unable to upload. Can someone please inform me how to do that.

    Thank you,

    Thomas

First, welcome to the IWC Forum. We certainly enjoy seeing pictures of our cherished IWC's posted here.

    Here's how to do it:

    Hi Bill,

    Thanks for your response.

    Thomas,

The Portofino line is a classic and you have a wonderful and beautiful example with the Portofino Chronograph. Thanks for sharing. You are most likely infected with the IWC Uhren-virus and there will be more IWC's in your future. What will be on your wish list?

    Bill,

Hmmmm. That is a terrific question.

I have always really loved the clean and simplistic look of the Portuguese Hand Wound. The first time I was introduced to IWC the gentlemen showed me the awe-inspiring sound of the Portuguese Minute Repeater. I was amazed a watch could be so complex on the inside while looking so minimalistic on the exterior. The best of both worlds for me.

I am sure it will change with time, but on this day that is the first that comes to mind.

What about you Bill, what watch(es) are you a proud owner of and what is your wish list?

    Thanks for the conversation,

    Thomas

Congratulations & welcome to the forum.
IWC is an addiction, and a good one. The experiences we share are amazing and it feels more like a family here.
For me, The Minute Repeater is an excellent watch. A bit expensive, but excellent.
Wear the watch in good health.

Manishkuki, You are right, this forum feels like a collection of close friends. I feel like if I saw one of you on the street and we recognized one another's watch, we would have a great conversation because of our shared interest.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments, it is nice to know there are gentlemen out there that have the same passion and appreciation for a watch like this as I do.

What styles are you guys lucky enough to be wearing?

Also, one thing that for me is truly unique to IWC is the comment of "Wear your watch in good health". The last thing the jeweler said to me before i left the store was that, and I thought it was just something he said. But, time and time again here at IWC have I encountered this phrase and it couldn't be a better one. Thank you to those who have said this to me and I reciprocate it to you.

    From Toronto, Canada

Welcome, sweet watch, you are now infected with the IWC gen and will probably get an Portuguese hand wound soon!
