Hello - I was gifted a watch and absolutely love it. The problem is, it is
driving me nuts with it gaining time. I think it gains approx 15 seconds a
day. Is there a problem with the watch?

It has been sitting in the box from brand new and not been moved until it was
gifted to me two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the warrenty has now expired.

Im at a loss as to what to do. Is this normal?

    Thanks

Hello, give it time to break in, after almost two years in a box without
working, oils could have dried out a bit.

It's now day 4 and total gain is 30s.

Calmed down by half but is this still too fast?

IWC watches should be 0 to +7 sec a day to be on tolerance, never slow.

    So looks OK to me.

    Help!

A few weeks ago, my watch stopped moving whilst i was wearing it. I thought
it was odd but just charged again and its fine.

Today, i decided to put the watch in the winder and let it charge. I just
    checked and it stopped.

Here's the thing - i wind it up by the crown and it no longer starts.

    What do i do?
