    Help!

A few weeks ago, my watch stopped moving whilst i was wearing it. I thought
it was odd but just charged again and its fine.

Today, i decided to put the watch in the winder and let it charge. I just
    checked and it stopped.

Here's the thing, I can no longer get it started. I turned the crown 20 times
and it didnt work. I read elsewhere that maybe like another 20 times (40
total) should kick start it. Would i over wind it?

    Anyone got any other ideas?

Note: I posted to a thread but worried it wouldnt get seen to so put in here.

You won't over-wind an automatic watch. But if it doesn't run after turning
the crown 40 times, your watch needs service.

Just very strange as it was working last night and suddenly stopped.

would putting it in a watch winder damage it when it had low power? I noticed
it must've stopped not long after putting into the winder

Presuming your watch winder functions as designed, I see no reason why putting
it on the winder would have caused any problems. I am not a watchmaker, so if
a watch stops, it simply means to me that I need to have it serviced to run
    again.

If you had a complete understanding of why the watch stopped, would you repair
    it yourself? Just curious...

    learn.

It happens - they are mechanical objects after all and things just happen. I
would just send it in for a service.
