    Hello,

I own a Portugieser Chronograph 371445 and a little over a year ago I replaced the black strap with an IWC brown alligator leather strap. I love the look of it but I have noticed that the longer half of the strap (attached to 12 position of the watch) has become much darker than the shorter half. I have not used any cleaning products or anything on the strap. Has anyone else experienced this with the brown strap? Is there some sort of method I should be using to clean the strap regularly?

    Thanks for your feedback.

As leather is natural, it can age differently, one piece compared to the other.
I would show it to my dealer, asking if the coloration is in normal limits.
