I have inherited this nice timepiece and would like some information such as
history, exclusivity, quality etc on it. The model number is 5703 and serial
number is 5043704. It is stated to being 1 of 500 - does that affect its
exclusivity or all IWC watches more or less exclusive?
Any information you can share will be most appreciated.

Haven't been back to the forum for a while. Saw your question, but seemed no
one answered, so allow me...
The Portugiese Pure Classic was released back in 2011. It is amongst the most
minimal and thinnest modern Portugiese watches out there.
It features a Piaget thin, hand-wound movement.
If like a handwind watch that is thin, without a second-hand, then this is the
watch for you. I think the power-reserve is nothing to write home about (with
less than 40-hour power reserve?)
To me though, I like the look, but to me, a handwound watch with no display
back, second hand and power-reserve indicator, it can get annoying sometime...
like, is my watch running? I really can't tell until a few minutes later...
but... that's just me.
