Hello, I just purchased a new Portuguese Yacht Club watch on a recent trip to Europe. Beautiful watch but it does not keep time very long and most of the time now when I wind it nothing happens. Is there something I could be doing wrong? I unscrew the crown to position 0 winding position but no go. I appreciate any suggestions.

MasterWhat direction are you winding the crown and how many rotations???
Let's see a picture and maybe guess at what's going on, but it's almost impossible to diagnose problems in cyberspace.

MasterThe Portuguese Yacht Club has a very efficient automatic winding system. Hand-winding to get it started is fine but you should not need to be manually winding this watch if you wear it regularly as it has a 68 hour power reserve. If it does not wind as you wear it, something is wrong. I would take it to your nearest AD and have it sent in for repair.
