The post #1000. Not much in comparison to the other members, especially when
we take into account that most of my posts were about creating the community
rather than sharing expert knowledge. Still I thought it deserves a little
more special attitude to look back at them. Or to be more precise to look back
at the years spent within this community. So how were they?

I became a part of the forum 6 years ago and spent some money on flight
tickets since :o) I have spent some quality time with the people sharing the
same passion. My first encounter with the collector's community was during the
SIHH in 2013 and the very first person I have met was David from US who
recognised me as a lost and lonely collector wandering around the IWC booth
and literally took care of me :o)

First mini GTG, dinner, meeting Andrew and Vishal.

Meeting the rest of the gang the other day, especially the guys from the
Eastern part of the Globe who are not so often to be seen in Europe.

[I remove photos older than 4 years, sorry.]
    Meeting Mr. Klaus as well.

So how is the community? Always in good mood!

Mini GTG 's have followed since. Like with Mark visiting me.

Or me meeting Christian and Peter in boutique in Vienna.

    Another meeting during SIHH 2015.

[I remove photos older than 4 years, sorry.]
Always in good mood, maybe because of my stupid faces made into the camera?

With other mini GTG 's and afterparties.

Special event in Amsterdam in 2016.

[I remove photos older than 4 years, sorry.]
With the two important members: Mark and Bill.
[I remove photos older than 4 years, sorry.]
    Always in good mood.

Don 't drink and drive the boat, you are causing horror and nausea to the
    others.

My last special visit was in Schaffhausen finally in 2017.

Not only in good mood, always attentive as well.
[I remove photos older than 4 years, sorry.]
    Visit with a factory tour.
[I remove photos older than 4 years, sorry.]
    And a watchmaking class :o)

Thank you and IWC for helping to keep this community. Thanks for watching,
hope to see many of you again soon!
