... of the 8 day handwound watches.
Did you already notice? Had the predecessor movement had this too? I've never noticed. That's understated beauty at its best!

That's the feature I like most about the 5102. That it's there but "hidden"

The 59000 calibre family has a power reserve indicator. At the Portofino 8 Days Handwound it shows at the front (calibre 59210), at the Portuguese 8 Days Handwound it shows at the back (calibre 59215). The 59000 calibre family is very interesting from a technical point of view, the watches furnished with them are quite beautiful: either the Portofino or the Portuguese are desirable watches in my eyes.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Paul, fully agree. Especially this one:media2.iwc.com/site_media/thumbnails/36/d0/IW510206_hHG5JZd.36d0b747dbe070da22e42c4bd73d388d.jpg

    Tilo

The watch is a future classic. I wear mine with great joy.

Sell your Yacht Club and get a watch you will never want to miss. IWC wanted to stop the production of this classic variant in favor of the new "Jubilee" Editions. As I don't think the latter will be a success, I think to keep it in the collection was a wise decision.

    A beautiful classic understated watch!
But the Yacht Club is a "no seller" for me! ;)
