I just got a new camera.  This is a first attempt at focus stacking.  Stacked file was extremely large, 165 MB.  This is the jpeg, low resolution size, a few kb.  It took forever to process the image.  There were 50 shots at 53 mb each. Have to spend so more time in the basement and at the computer to do this correctly.

And a close up of a close up.

My new camera is  Nikon D850 that automatically takes the series of focused pictures across the face of the watch, up to 300 in a stack if needed.  I used 50 shots across the face of the watch.  If you don't have a camera to automate the process, it can be done manually.  I used HeliconSoft to process the stack and render the 50 shots into one focused picture with incredible DOF.  There are several other vendors of imagae stacking softward packages.  Google Image Stacking for reviews.

That is a feature I will look for when I upgrade my DSLR. Thanks for loading the pics, Bill.
