Just got back from DC so I had no time or decent light for pictures. However, having seen your latest posts I know I could not have duplicated your efforts. Maybe I'll try on Feb 28/ March 1.

That night sky is absolutely unbelievable in close up!
Is there really some blue in there, or is it simply the way the light / flash is reflected? Either way - it looks so amazing.

Here is a description from MF of the materials used for the PPC moon disk stars. When light reflects off the aventurine quartz, it does indeed create a rainbow of reflected colors. It is seen more in photographs than with the naked eye.
