Damn you MF and IWC - I though I was safe for a while having just picked up my CF3 but now this comes out and shoots to the top of my must have list!

Looks sensational and great to have something to bridge the gap between the 5001 and 5022 and mechanically it sounds great - good to see continuing development from IWC and what a way to start the new year!

Indeed, a very interesting watch! Makes me think of the Patek Philippe Annual Calendar, from the point of view of the dial lay-out, the way the functions are displayed. And it makes me think of the first UTC, from the point of view of looks, certainly because the three windows have a rim for the lot. Quite an efficient lay-out. I like it!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

This explains some recent discussion. Absolutely gorgeous, of course! Now let's see that monopusher chronograph or alarm complication I desire from IWC.

Looks and sounds very interesting. Steel version with blue dial might be the runner!
Regarding the design, I think I have to see it in flesh! My first thought was: Oops I have to get used to this...

    Cheers Chris

beautiful indeed! I wonder how it is under the dial, I mean: I'm curious to see how they managed to put the disks so well to show all three date parts as they were on a single "row". I imagine the disks are overlaying, but still quite challenging to figure it out.

What a great addition ! to the Portuguese line up!. So the voices were right :
Year of the Portuguese and an annual calendar. And a steel version too.
Triple A start of the year, and more to come for the Portuguese.
    Isnt`t life grand ?

Happy New Year IWC and Michael Friedberg.

Very beautiful indeed and a new movement too which seems very nice!

I'm looking forward to the movement pictures.

Gorgious movement, with [i]black[i] ceramic parts to remove all friction. It is great.i1311.photobucket.com/albums/s678/tomi59/blackceramicpartsinhenewlydevelopedcal52000_zpsa9bab81b.jpg

It is great that this beautiful watch is being offered in two dial variants with the steel case. Are there any photos of images of the steel case with the silver dial? Thanks! Jeff

I'm looking forward seeing it in real life. I am so used to the layout of the Perpetual Calendar that this one probably takes some time to get used to. I really like the ceramic parts in the movement and would love to see more pictures of that.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

I have the same question. Does anybody know where we can see a picture of the steel case with the silver dial?

    Cheers Chris

Silver dial? There is this one? Is it just the gold that comes with the White face?

I am hoping for blued hands and numerals. Hopefully some images will surface soon.

I think what JPERK and I are looking for is the Ref. IW503501 version in steel and silver plated dial. Of course we can almost imagine from the Ref. IW503504, but as we all know, a picture tells you more than thousand words.

    Cheers Chris

PS. Sent you a mail for the travel pouch ;-)
