If you're in the U.S. and able to get to the Beverly Hills Boutique, you can see this year's novelties there from February 13 through the 27th. These are display samples and the Boutique won't have any yet for sale, although I'm sure orders will be accepted.

I can't get out there but anyone who does be sure and get some good pictures.
I'd love to know if any of the special editions will make it out there.

    Alan,

At SIHH there was no Ali version to see. I did look at a small picture and the watch does look interesting. Do you remember what was engraved on the back? Boxing gloves perhaps?

I was able to get out there and preview some of the new models I have on order with my AD. But the one that surprised me was the boutique-only Ali BP. It has nice accents of 'boxing-glove' red on the face and from memory, the back has his name and silhouette in a stance. Tastefully done as you would expect from IWC. Rumor has it that it comes with a 60 pound book of his life.

Needless to say, I had to put a deposit down for one right then and there! I don't think they will start delivering until they open the NY boutique. Can't wait!!

Can someone please post photos of the Ali BP. My youngest son (24) is nuts about him and has a huge collection of publications and films.

Soon..real soon. I've also been talking to IWC about priority ordering for forum members (only US deliveries, though --sorry!)

My info is that the Ali is steel, 46mm, black leather strap. Limited endition of 250.

It should be in platinum not steel to pack a knockout punch!!
(Alternatively in titanium to sting like a bee!!)

Apologies for bad humour but actually not a bad idea IMO! He was one heck of a character and always a great fighter, so sad to see him with PD.

Ali version is as described. 46MM steel with the red accents. you wont be seeing any pictures of it until its debut at the NY Boutique. Then only 250 in United States Boutiques Only. IWC will be trying to deliver all new models early this year as they are trying to remove the stigma of being late deliverers. Once i have one in my hands i will definitely post it.

    thanks
