Proxy Sailing Watch

I brought a couple watches with me on a trip this week. Can't always have the perfectly themed timepiece for every activity when you under pack on the IWCs. I would have wore a Portuguese for sailing this week - the DaVinci would "have to do". At least my wife was wearing her Portuguese for this sailing occasion... all taken with my iPhone.

Very nice watch Ardoise. If memory serves me well, this is a limited edition while the black dial is a regular edition. Really depicts a gentlemen's watch.

Giovani that is a sublime Ardoise White Gold DV Kurt Klaus. Great photo. I have not seen one of those in the flesh yet.

KS - All DaVinci Perpetual Kurt Klaus' are limited in various volumes. My RG, Silver Dial DaVinci is an edition of 500. Giovani's Ardoise dialed example is limited to 50 watches. The RG with black dial is a limited series of 1,000.

Love this thread - it is turning out to be a nice Da Vinci thread !

Hope to catch u sometime Stateside next year Ardoise - I am almost certainly headed to the East Coast next year, likely Easter. Will keep u and the guys posted.
