Well, it's time...I'll tell you a bit more

    It's a Pilot's Watch
    It's got an in-house movement
It's got a flat black (not glossy dial) because
    It's antimagnetic! and
I'll show the back later, but which can be engraved with your name, and...
It's engraved with your individual number, and

If you really want to see it now, you can click here.

YES! I like the look of the "Fauxtina" on the arabica. Will the strap stitching match the arabica? (carpet and drapes thingy).

    Bring it on!!

Nicely done. I really like the dial color reminiscent of the PT BP like Arne's. It is very clean and easy to read. I would prefer a single date aperture, but I can live with the open date.

Having missed the CFI and passing on the CFDV, I will be in line to sign up for the CFP. I would like to use CFP or some other acronym for it vs using a number. The first two used non numerical identifiers. What do you think?

Thanks IWC and MF for working to bring another Collectors' Forum Watch. Many hands and heads had to be involved in bring this to reality. Chapeau to all.

    Michael,

Thanks for the email heads up on this posting. Nice color combination and a strap. I am looking forward to the next set of details on how and when to order etc as such details become available.

CFP it is this year for the holiday season.

Yeehaw!!hey, I'm currently in Texas. What a great look. I can keep my post short because I agree with what Bill said word for word, including the bits about CFI and CFDV.

Sure wish it had a bracelet, but I know that can be purchased separately.

    I am soooooo excited!

I first want to say thanks to IWC who offers this to us as a Collectors watch. I think it is a fine watch, and one I'll add to my stable.

And it represents a link or bond for us in the Forum- there are a lot of 'politics' involved with something like this, a lot of hands in the fire- but in the end, whether or not one wants to get it, we should all appreciate the opportunity!

    Thanks to all involved.

Beautiful work! A great pilot in the making. I guess this piece will help add an iconic sense of belonging in the IWC forum/community.

Sensational, the watch looks great. I have been holding off on this post - my 500th and now master post for a reveal of my own, but I just couldn't hold back with the reveal of the CF3 watch, it is a great looking watch and one I will definitely be lining up for!

    Cheers,

    Ben

I like the vintage lume, will match the stitching on the leather strap nicely. The matt black dial will look great (reminds me of my vintage subs). Looks way better than the base Spitfire Chronograph, IMO. Can't wait for more details. Hope it comes with a deployant.
