Thank you Michael, it had to be painstakingly hard to square the circle.
Thank you to all the IWC people involved in this.
I'd be honored to have n°36 if possible.

When I looked this morning I saw five pages of very enthousiastic reactions, within a few hours. Whatever you may think of this watch, the part I quoted seems not to be quite true. I guess this watch will be liked enough by members of this forum to make it a success.
Kind regards,
Paul
Paul, I do not question that some of the enthousiastic people actually will buy this watch and that at the very end, 150 pieces will find an owner. But again, when I think of a collector who cares about tradition (which mechanical watch-making is mostly about) and less about fashion, there is someting missing for me.
Very nice and wonderful for any collector!
And I'm somewhat delighted to be definitely out of this one because I don't have the funds at the moment - like always when it comes to new watches. ;-)
I definitely go for one of this year's novelties but therefore I'll have some more time because it's not limited and it just hits the shops now. That'll be definitely available for some more years now - hopefully enough time for fundraising.
I'm really happy for anyone who will take part and be pleased with the new CFP.
Dear Michael
Many thanks showing us, it is a real Beauty!
Psst, Psst, not make to much noise about it, so the chances remain better to get one ;-)
best regards
RALPH !
Very nice! A worthy addition to the "CF" family.
Thanks
TR
Do I need to battle with Rave to secure #85/XXX?
If I get an allocation, I will take any number I can get here!
Great looking watch!
I'm willing to trade my Spitfire, any takers?
Michael, please I don't care what number I ll get, but please, let me decide on what number Roberto gets.
One of the best parts of all this is that this announcement has brought out posts from people we all know but rarely see posting here any more. Obviously, they still lurk.
Maybe this excitement will cause them to show their faces and share their thoughts more often?
I was out-of-pocket last night and just saw this posting. I like it...I like it very much! Thanks to Michael and everyone who had a hand in making this happen. I will be happy with any number that I can secure...it is still a tangible link to this great forum!
Best regards,
Jim
Thank you for your efforts, Michael. Seems to be a quite original one!
I would like to get no.27 if possible, if not any number I could get by!
Oh dear...
Time to start digging for change under the sofa cushions, methinks.
Regards,
Adam
Just when I have limited internet acces and it takes about two minutes to load a page and 3 minutes before the picture of the new cfp could be admired...
But worth while. Thanks MF for the effort to move things in Schaffhausen and to be the moderator of our wishes. Like I read on some post : " to make the square a circle" or something like that.
One question , the colour of the numbers seem pink on my screen here. Is this that the colour ?
I like the watch.
Tonny, I recall MF ran a "survey" regarding the specifications of what the CF3 should be.
Now it's turned out to be a GREAT watch ....and of course, not everyone's wished could be accomplished. Having said that, I was perturbed to see that there was one design aspect WHICH ONLY A SINGLE FORUM MEMBER HAD SUGGESTED AND ASKED FOR ON THE POLL, WAS WHICH WAS ACTUALLY INCORPORATED IN THIS BEAUTY!
Was it not Tonny who requested pink hands? - LoL
Actually, it's more "Sahara Beige" color - looks even better in the steel than on the photo's.
Is it OK for me to request # 57.
How do we place order? I hope I am eligible.
I know it's ridiculous to ask for a certain number here, but since everyone is doing it anyway. I would be honored to accept # 100.
MF, it is ridiculous isn't it?

O.K., if #100 is cool with Alan, I'd be happy to take #101!!!
