It looks great. Love it! Thanks Michael and IWC for making this happen. Thanks for giving to this collector group a bond ... a bond which is a sign of our friendship to the brand and the friendship among us collectors.
I'm in!

Very very nice, ,love that patina look and size should be ok too!
Thanks Michael and IWC, maybe you can shed some light on the 'process': how to order, reserve a number (or indicate preference, otherwise people start doing it here and what is the status of that???), rough estimated delivery dates etc.
Groeten,
Bob
wonderful design. Thanks Michael and the IWC team for making this happen!
Excellent news Michael! It looks really nice and its pretty clear that a lot of thought went into it. Many thanks to both you and IWC for making this happen.
Both my Laureus Spitfire and CFDV were delighted to read this :)
I'm certainly in!
Any chance of a "road show" for collectors to get together and view a prototype?
Cheers,
Evan
Thanks Michael for the picture and thanks IWC for making this possible. This watch looks really great and is hard to resist. A wonderfull way to represent the link between our forum members! You may count me in. I look forward to more information.

Photos please Michael.
I like it - I like it!
In January of 2012 I was sitting with some of the Collectors / privelaged Forumers who had been invited by IWC to SIHH and on being presented the New Pilots line, imeadiately ordered the Spitfire Chrono on bracelet with Ardoise dial. I love everything about that watch - only missed the soft iron cage!
Now, with CFP (if I will be lucky enough to be able to secure one) I will have the perfect Pilot Chrono - and not only perfect but one with even greater looks!
What a handsome timepiece!
I wonder what the lume will look like - will it be similar to the other Saint-Ex watches? Or will it be similar to the BP?
Hoping it's similar to Saint-Ex
Congratulations Michael, and all involved. Well done.
Please reserve #90/xxx.
very nice, love the colour scheme.
Very Nice,well done.
Perfect.
It is not what I thought, it is a lot better. Grand THANK YOU to everyone involved. Waiting for "the details"...
Thanks Michael and IWC!
It's a winner and is sympathetic to many of the attributes we expect in an IWC. Well done to all involved in the project.
Terrific looking watch! I showed it to my wife (always wise to do, and a bit of a gamble) and she liked it so much, she wondered if we could pick it up on our way back home from Switzerland. So, count me in!
A very big congratulations to the team, and especially Michael, to make this possible.
Kind regards,
Paul
It could be a nice looking watch - I will certainly not miss the opportunity to see one in flesh, although the risk for my bugdet is minimal LOL.
However, I wonder what drove the decision to go for a Spitfire (as I feard that it would be) and not a classic pilots watch. There is no real connection between this model and IWC's history, to collectors, to anything that could seem important to the community here. It is simply a different coloured version that is antimagnetic, has a solid back with engravings and is limited. I personally would have hoped for something that picks up the great and more-than-rich background of IWC more genuninely.
wow.........!!!!!!!!!
No matter what it was, I guess it was never going please everyone. Personally I think it looks great. If it looks that good in the picture, it should be magic on the wrist.
Thank you Michael, it had to be painstakingly hard to square the circle.
Thank you to all the IWC people involved in this.
I'd be honored to have n°36 if possible.
