Hi, I am new to this forum. I just got a wonderful IW3902-08. As it was not the current model, so I tried to find some specification about this watch. I learned from some web site that my watch has anti-reflective treatment on both sides of the sapphire crystal, but some did not mention about this point. So may anyone tell me whether the sapphire crystal has anti-reflective treatment on both sides?

    Thanks a lot.

    Thank you :)

I like this watch very much. The combination of the dial with sub-dial, rubber strap ... especially the size 45.4 mm of this watch. I prefer this size more than the current size of IW3905.

I just found from IWC web site that the watch IW390216 does not has ant-reflective layer. So, I am thinking maybe my watch (IW390208) also same as IW390216 instead.

Really? Where does it say that? Are you noticing reflections on the inside of your crystal? Somehow I doubt it. Relax and enjoy your watch - it's a beauty all right. I believe that all contemporary IWC watches that share the same first four reference numbers (in this case 3902) also share the same crystal. The anti-reflective coating on both sides of the crystal is noted in the information on the ref. 3902 when it was introduced in the 2010/2011 catalog.

    Hi Ben,

Thank you for your information. Please advise where it is feasible to find the 2010 / 2011 catalog online? Actually I really not mind whether my watch has anti-reflective coating on both sides of the crystal. It juts sound stupid to tell wrong information when someone asking me the technical information about my watch . haaa :-)

    Hello EDKWOK422

I'm sorry but I actually have a hard copy - I do not know of a link to an online copy of the 2010/2011 collection. Being a boutique edition, it may be quite hard to track down much documentation on that particular piece. Your best bet might be to search for an available hard copy of a catalog from the years the IW3902 was included.

Too bad there is no available online resources for knowing technical details of 390208. I found that there was online resource of IWC work book, but the site does not work.

Anyway, thank you for your reply. Maybe I can ask the staff associate at IWC flagship boutique to request them answering my question. It is lucky that Hong Kong has one flagship boutique. :-)
