Hello, I would like to ask few question about my IWC watch (Perpetual Calendar double moon rose gold) i bought a couple of weeks ago.

    1. When I am traveling to cities/countries that are hours (4 to 12 hours) behind the current time zone, how should I adjust the time? I heard I cannot wind the watch backward. Is it okay to wind the watch backwards as long as it does not pass 12'o clock midnight?

    2. Let's say I have not worn this watch for a year or two. After those years of not wearing, what would be the best way to adjust the time when I am trying to wear it again? Should I keep winding the watch continuously until it hits the current time? or can i set date/month and time separately and there will be no problem?

    Thanks.

    Hello

    1) Under no circumstances must the hands be turned back between
8 p.m. and 2 a.m. as this will result in maladjustment of
the calendar. The hands must never be turned anticlockwise beyond 2 a.m.

    2) Pull out the crown to position 1. In this position, you can use the
direct-advance function to move the calendar forwards one step
at a time by turning the crown slowly to the left. The calendar
must not be adjusted between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.
