I have a Big Pilot, and inadvertently moved the hands back past midnight during setting. I can't believe I was this careless.
Anyway, the watch and date mechanism seem to be operating ok, but I was wandering what and how much damage I could have caused. Your advice is appreciated.
It's likely you are okay, but....
watch it as it changes date over the next few days. If there is a problem, you will see them during the date change over. The next time you have service mention your concern. The watchmaker can see it there were any damage to the gear involved.
