I am not 100% curitan. There are other on here that may know better but I
beleive its Tritium
DIAL NO OBVIOUS RADIUM BURNS
BROCHURE FOR1955/56 CALIBER 852 (WHAT I HAVE) INDICATES RADIUM DOTS BUT NO
COMMENT ABOUT THE HANDS.
On the early ingenieurs was Radium : I measured radioactivity with a Geiger
counter.
If the dots are Radium loaded, the hands are also. It s not necessary to see
Radium burns on the dial.
However, if the watch has been serviced at IWC, the Radium would have been
exchanged, first for Tritium, later for Superluminova.

Thanks Adrian,
at least for me, that is a very interesting hint, because I was always
wordering why those early 666 don“t have a "T" on dial.
Now, you have clarrified that issue !

Heiko
Thanks Adrian, I think you've got it exactly right
