I recently purchased a IW377710
This morning while adjusting time I unintentionally engaged rapid advance and
day move briefly but did not change fully ...
not sure if there is anything to worry about.
I set the watch to 10:05 and pushed the crown back in (day/date were incorrect
but left it for now). Since the time was 10:04, I pulled the crown again to
fine tune and did not realize that it only came up to Positon-2 (day/date). I
turned the crown just a bit and saw the day (FRI) move a
little (it did not switch to SAT). I realized that the rapid advance was
engaged (not sure if it was 10:05am or 10:05pm). Anyhow, I pulled the crown
little
more to bring to Position-3 and adjusted the time to 10:04.
Two hours later the day/date switched (confirming that it was 10:05pm when I
was adjusting earlier). It is suggested not to engage eapid advance between
8pm and 2am. Do I need to be concerned ?
Since this incident I have realized that the seconds hand stops at Position-3
to confirmt that the crown is pulled all the way.
