Hello, this is my first post, I recently inherited an IWC. I am trying to verify it’s authenticity, I will attach photos and the basic script that I have found inside the watch. It reads: Japan no jewels,VD55B, SII 0’. It is Rattrapante Chronograph. Can anyone offer any assistance with this basic information provided

IWC watches are Swiss made. There is no connection to Japan. At least the maker did not try to hide that fact, but they did illegally use the IWC logo on the dial. This is a worthless watch. If it is working, you can use it as a bang around watch and not be concernted about damaging a valuble watch.

Thanks for this info. Do you have any idea how much
its cost? In back cover it says, sapphire crystal and swiss movement,stainless steel, Italy.
