I'm starting a 'modest' collection of IWC with the rattrapante models. I own a GST and a Portuguese 3712.
I would like to know if indeed the calibers are the same based on the Valjoux 7750, with the same modifications to add the rattrapante complication or one is more 'elegant' than the other (with the obvious difference of day date being absent in the 3712). Can we consider that the 3712 has a real manufacture rattrapante complication vs the GST which would be more 'run of the mill' .
