I recently purchased a pre-owned, basically new without tags, IWC 3714-45 from an individual seller. The watch came with box, papers and a warranty card that is dated and has "IWC, Not for Resale" listed, but no signature. I believe the watch is authentic, but there are very good fakes. I took the watch to an IWC store and they said that they are not able to authenticate (only way is to ship back to Switzerland for $300), but they did take a quick look and said "just enjoy the watch, its a beautiful piece" and that's all he could say. I have attempted to load pictures to photobucket, but would appreciate any input.s1067.photobucket.com/user/brownie345/library/?view=recent&page=1

Welcome to the forum. The ref. 3714 is a great watch and I can't see anything wrong with yours. As the guy in the shop said: "Enjoy".

Looks real and good to me too. A beautiful watch and a classic!
