recent acquisition

Recently I found a " disco volante ", nothing very special, but very nice mov.(401), script on the back and lugs.

Nice acquisition Giuliano.

Looks in good shape and the engraving makes it even much more interesting.

what is really unbelivable is that after several years in a box, without any operation, the accuracy is +4 second a day !!!! The mov. 401 is not very popular but in my opinion, really a gem.

This is especially interesting to me because I remember well the A & P supermarket chain- when I was a little boy my mother shopped at one. They are gone now.
About that Disco Volante case- never seen another like it. Pretty interesting.
And the look of the movement is beautiful.
