    Greetings All,

Tomorrow the 4th of July, we USA Forumers celebrate our independence day holiday. It is generally a day for relaxing by enjoying outdoor activities, picnics and especially BBQ's ( lots of Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, etc. ).

Of course everything is themed by our flag colors, RED, WHITE and BLUE.

Thought it might be a treat to see what Forumers view as their best Red, White or Blue dial shots. Maybe your favorite Red sub-dial accent, perhaps a beautiful White dial, or how about something in brillant Blue. Of course the "Trifecta" shot would be all 3 colors on a single dial. Can you think of one?

Members around the world, American Forumers welcome your "Color" contributions.

Wishing everyone a very happy and enjoyable 4th of July , wherever you are!

    Andy

Happy 4th of July to all my fellow USA forummers! I don't have an IWC that reflects the flag color scheme, but here is my CFDV pictured with something appropriate for the day! Everyone be safe and have a great holiday.

    Alan,

Just find those sub-dial "red arrows" eye popping. I can see why it's on the list. Hope it comes your way soon.

    Andy,
Since this is only available in Switzerland (or perhaps Germany) I have to wait for a weaker Swiss Franc. Or a good price on the secondary market. LOL

Had to dig into the old pictures to find red white and blue. And for a "today" red white and blue shot, I suggest there is

    www.fototime.com/%7BB1F0F7CB-8F2A-41ED-A2BE-A93EFB26498F%7D/origpict/LaurPrF.JPG

nothing quite like July 4 in small town Midwest USA. So what if it is Day 6 with no power and temperatures every day of 97 degrees F (36 degrees for those of you of the Celsius persuasion)? Only 5 more days to go until they expect to have power restored! So the whole town still turned out for the parade. Here are 6 of our 7 grandkids plus some of the assorted family members who came from New Jersey and California to celebrate. Block party breakfast complete with jazz band, parade, barbecue with hot dogs, hamburgers, and cold watermelon. Doesn't get much better than this!

Hope everyone enjoyed a "safe & sane" 4th. Thanks to all the participants for your terrific Red/White/Blue shots. No watch manufacture uses these 3 colors in perfect harmony better than IWC.

I love my flag and long may it wave, but I think it's time for a bit of a makeover. My suggestion.....replace the stars with a variety of IWC dials, like the examples posted on this thread.

    Did someone say PHOTOSHOP ?

    Enjoy the weekend everyone,

    Andy
