    Hello gentlemen,
Le Petit Edition blue dial chronograph.
Am I missing something here ?
I have seen this watch on this forum and others of late and was wondering if one can buy it new from ADs or has it been superceded by ref 3878 ? Its obviously not featured on the IWC website so Im guessing its an older model.
I assume it uses the same calibre as the standard Pilots Chrono.
    It`s as sensational looking piece.
    Thanks guys
    Neil.

    Hi Neil,

The Pilot chronograph Le Petit Prince blue dial is a Boutique Edition.
I think limited to 1000 a year. I was at the NY Boutique in May, very keen to see it, but it was out of stock :-(

    Thanks Mark,
I didn't realize it was a Boutique only release model.
I will have to keep my eye open for one at the Boutique when Im in KL next month. Im assuming it does utilize the same movement as the standard Pilots chrono as it looks like the same dial layout.
    Regards
    Neil.

I thought it was limited to 1000 in total, full stop?

No, this was already one point of criticism in the forum that it is not limited.

    Hi...
Just got my le petit prince chrono 1week ago.
I was told that this is just a special edition and not the limited or boutique edition which is limited to 1000 pieces & it's not a chronograph. It's a mark...

    Best wishes,
    KK

When it is the mark then it's limited to 1000 and no LP chrono ....Congrats on your new watch, it's a classy beauty! Wear it in good health!

My mistake, I got confused, I wasn't thinking about the Chrono.

    Gentlemen,
My apologies for causing confusion! I was thinking of something else when I mentioned the limit of 1000 per year. It does not refer to this model.
