Hello everyone! I kindly ask you if you can give me some information about
this watch from 1955 (approximate year). The watch is in good condition,
polished gold case, restored dial and recently overhauled movement.
Unfortunately I have no other information. I also searched the net for a
similar watch but I didn't find it (I guess it's rare). Thank
    you

Without knowing the case and movement numbers, and seeing that the Watch
posted is an image from a watch vendor's website it is not possible to give a
full description or to identify it exactly.....

It is Cal 89 which was in production from 1946 to 1976 and suits your
    estimated date of 1955

It is not a particularly rare watch, although the hands are unusual.

Thanks a lot Mark, the watch was sent to me and will arrive today. For this
reason I have attached a photo of the seller. When I have the opportunity to
open it, I will perhaps be able to see the n. of the gauge mounting.

    Hi AGM and Mark,

since it is a center second movement it cannot be Cal 83 or Cal 88. Center
second movement of this era are Cal 89 or Cal 60 or 61. Or the Automatics Cal
85x but then we should see the Automatic imprint on the dial.

    No!

It is definitely Cal 89. I was mistaken in my first post.
I was preoccupied and didn't take a clear enough look at the watch.
