    ... was quite short.

As my round birthday is getting closer I was thinking about a way to celebrate
it in a proper gentlemen's style :o) And being away for while from the watches
in metal I needed to pay a visit to the shop or the boutique to refresh my
memories and let some thoughts be made clear and settled. So I have used this
rainy Saturday for a short trip to Bratislava, where one small shop can be
    found.

Saturday was the day of the "City for Free" in Bratislava, where a lot of
places could be visited without the fees. Theaters, Museums, Public Transport,
unfortunately, no watches for free :o( I really tried :o)))) The Public
Transport company used this day to take out also its historic vehicles, like
    this one:

Walking to the shop with a lot expectations and joy from meeting some watches
again :o) guess who crossed my way. The Pilot:

Is he alive ? Or not ? ;o)

The shop is just behind the corner, which I turned quickly to check the
windows at first. But oh no, the windows where not that packed as usual. A lot
of watches missing... That was not a good sign. I walked in, was welcomed,
seated and informed that they are almost fresh sold out of a lot models. Even
the new delivery from a few days ago was gone. What a pity.

My plan was to try the Portuguese YC, as I lusted for the Laureus edition of
it, the Chrono Classic, a few of the pilots, especially the Spitfire Chrono
and finally some of the new AT warriors as I haven't seen them yet.

What was left was just a half of my plan. The Chrono Classic and the Spitfire
Chrono. Not on the bracelet but at least both of them in the right color :o)
Here are some wristshots and comparison with my Italian companion as the size
reference. Sorry for the light, it was not the best inside there.

For the rest I guess I need to visit the small boutique in Vienna or wait for
my AD to stock up again. Never mind, I still have some spare time to continue
with the research. Until then we can all, me included :o) guess what's it
going to be at the end.

    Have a nice day, fellows!

    Thanks Bob.

Yes, I'm the proud owner of the Tribute to Italy. Here's the Story, should you have missed it before.

The Chrono Classic is a great watch. I must compliment you on the Ingeneur, however; a real stunner!
Marian, I am wondering whether you would email me as I have a question or two I would like to ask you privately.
    Thanks

Great boutique visit. Thanks for sharing. The Portuguese Chrono Classic is amazing!

Love those "grayish" dials. Beautiful, I forget what they call that color.

I knew that... :o)))) But I'm afraid the YC is too big for my wrist :o(

I have tried the one belonging to David before. Have to try it again... Unfortunately, as written above, it was not on stock.
