I was saddened to hear this tragic news first thing this morning.
Such a man of style, taste and character.

I have a fond memory to share.... Argiris had a great appreciation for fine
food, but he drew the line at Raclette, and refused to enter a Geneva
    restaurant that was serving it!

Argiris will be missed by our small community.
    Farewell Arg

When Roberto phoned me early this morning with this tragic news - I was unable
to comprehend this. Our dear friend and "Bro" to Roberto taken from us far to
    early.

A friend from the first day on the forum, a man who never failed to respond to
a post, and who was not afraid to speak his opinion both on the watches (where
we held very similar views as to what / which watches we liked), as well as on
    all other open subjects.

A patriot and lover of Greek history, a smart and stylish dresser, and
passionate about his food (actually a good cook, and I from time to time
consulted with him on how to cook specific Greek delights).

But most of all he was passionate about his Family. Natassa and Melina were
his life - and he lived for them and we spoke often of them and his activities
(beach days and barbecue days were favourite), but also spending one on one
time with the apple of his eye - Here below on a fun run with Melina a year or
    so ago.

Rest In Peace my friend - we cherish the memories

I could barely work today because of this sad news. Argiris was a friend and
brother who I shall miss dearlly. In 2012, I received an invitation from him
to attend his daughter Melina's christening. Dorothy and I traveled to
Kavala, Greece where we were hosted by Argiris and Natassa for several days.
The kindness, generosity and hospitality we were shown during that visit will
always be one of fondest memories. It was our first trip to Greece and
Argiris made sure that we were properly introduced to all things Greek. The
event was also attended by Dimitris P. and Roberto M. and their excellent wife
and partner. After the main event, we all spent a day together on the island
of Thassos hanging out in the ocean.

We have lost too many good friends over the past few years. It makes me value
even more the community of fine friends I've made on this forum. I want to
make sure that I never take for granted the time we have together. Dorothy
and I send our heartfelt condolences to Natassa, Melina and the family...and
all of you that have lost someone special with his passing.

I wish it was me instead of him. Argi had so many things to do for Natassa and
Melina yet but my thoughts are worth nothing and life is meaningless today.

What a shock, what a loss.... Argiris was such an amazing gentlemen,
friendly and also really outspoken (as we Dutch people love so much), a true
    'watch camerate'......

I wish his family all the strength they need to cope with this immense
    loss.... my sincere condoleances.

What remains is that I can only post some pictures to share the fond memories
    I have of him.....

Absolutely stunning news to hear that our beloved friend Arg has left us -
way, way too soon. I have been so fortunate to have spent some time with
Argiris over the years and feel blessed that this forum has brought so many of
us together. It is hard, incredibly sad, to lose such a friend and longtime
    member of our community.

    I ' m devastated.

Still cannot believe that Argiris passed away .

Ι met Argi on this forum and his passion about IWC watches inspired me to love
    this brand.

He was the one who took me under his wings , and introduced me to a number of
    wonderful people inside IWC community.

We spent lot of time together up to Kavala and of course in SIHH.

I really miss you already Arg

Until we meet again buddy, Farewell .
