    Good morning.

I have now added an Aquatimer IW376705 Stainless steel coated rubber black to
    my collection.

I small area on the lunette the rubber has been damaged.

Is it possible to just have the rubber in this area replaced ? or is this
going to be a big ( and expensive) job ?

I believe Clem Ho recently had similar work done on one of these - hopefully
he will be able to chime in.

I do not believe the rubber is repairable. Pardon my ignorance but I'm not
sure which part (the lunette) you are referring to.

I recently had a small tear on the bezel of mine. IWC replaced the entire
    bezel..

Sorry Clem, I mistakenly understood that the rubber was repaired on your watch
    - I didn't realize the whole bezel was replaced. Well that makes sense - I had
previously heard that the rubber coating was not something that could not be
    "patched."

Good evening and thanks for the reply. Yes, you are correct, it is the rubber
on the bezel that I am refering to. May I ask how much IWC wanted for the
repair ? The damage on mine is very slight and if it is reasonable I may have
it done. If not I will wait.

    Regards

    Richard

IWC may recommend a complete service if one hasn't been done in recent years.
If yours doesn't need it I would suggest holding off until it does assuming
the damage to the rubber isn't too bad.

I would suggest calling or going into the boutique (or your AD) for a quote.
