Could be the first sighting if the LPP on a bracelet? Nicely done and a great collection.
Denes,
Are you suggesting the LPP as a water watch ? I know it's rated 6 bar with screw down crown, but the thought of submerging a Pilot makes me wince. Others may disagree but IMO...
Pilot = Land and Sky
Aqua and Ing = Land and Water
Exception: If plane goes down in ocean, LPP OK !

Nicely done.
Andy. I believe Denes is using the term SEAL as the US Navy special operations force who operate in the Sea, Air, and Land. The term "SEAL" is meant to describe the environments of Sea, Air, and land - not necessarily the animal that spends most of its time in the water....
What a great team, Denes. I LOVE sporty watches on bracelets!
The LPP is sure calling my name!
Andy,
Ardoise is right. Sea - Aquatimer; Air - Pilot; Land - Ingenieur. Although I do plan to take the LPP swimming at some point, based on IWC's own recommendation: "With water-resistance of 3 bar, the watch can be worn when swimming or skiing, and at 6 bar it will have no problem with water sports or snorkelling." (www.iwc.com/en/water-resistant/)
Denes,
Thanks for the clarification. I thought with the bracelet change on the LPP, you were now considering it your new "go to" Aqua watch. BTW, nice trio's you put on display.
I hear you on the WR ratings, but I still have a hang up on my Pilots even going near water... OK, maybe a Bourbon & Water. But that's my limit.
